Who this hotel works best for
Room names, child rules and booking cautions link to their sources. If an answer is not available, we mark it as unconfirmed.
- The Family room provides four permanent beds, while the Japanese-Western room combines two beds with two futons.
- Both recommended room types have a bathroom with a washing area, separate from the toilet.
- The hotel connects directly to Ariake Garden, where a supermarket, pharmacy and child-focused shops reduce bad-weather logistics.
Sleep
Exact rooms to book
Published room capacity and bed-sharing allowances are separate. Enter every child and age when you search, even if a child will share a bed.

These are room examples from the Ikyu.com listing. They may not show the exact room type recommended below; match the room name before booking.

Watch-outs
Things to know before booking
Check these conditions before you pay, especially when a child will share a bed or use hotel facilities.
The public bath is an extra charge
Izumi Tenku no Yu is connected to the hotel but is not included automatically. Current hotel-guest rates are ¥2,300 per adult and ¥1,150 per elementary-school child per night.
Children aged 3 and under cannot use the public bath
The same restriction applies to anyone using diapers. Reserve the separately charged private bath or use the guest-room bathroom instead.
Welcome Baby equipment is room-specific
Do not assume every Japanese-Western room includes the full baby setup. Select a Welcome Baby-labeled option and reconfirm limited loan items.
A 6-year-old can sit on two different policy boundaries
The hotel describes free bed-sharing and breakfast by preschool or elementary-school status, not age alone. Confirm the booking category if your child is 6 around school entry.
Child policy
What changes with age
Lodging, bedding and breakfast do not always use the same age boundary. Check the row that matches the child's age at travel.
Sleep A preschool child may share an existing bed free; enter the child and age in the booking flow.
Bedding Baby cots, bed guards, baby baths and waterproof sheets are limited loan items. A Welcome Baby room has the clearest bundled setup.
Meals The breakfast buffet is free for preschool children.
Request every required loan item before arrival and plan to use the room bath; this age group cannot enter the public bath.
Sleep A preschool child may share an existing bed free.
Bedding A child who needs a separate sleeping place must be included in room occupancy; loan items remain subject to availability.
Meals The breakfast buffet is free for preschool children.
Enter the child as bed-sharing or bed-using accurately, and check whether the selected room is a Welcome Baby room.
Sleep The decisive category is whether the child is still preschool-age or has entered elementary school.
Bedding An elementary-school child should be included as a guest who needs a bed.
Meals Preschool children eat free; elementary-school children are currently ¥1,750.
Confirm school-status treatment directly for travel around the April school-year boundary.
Sleep Include the child in room occupancy with their own bed or futon.
Bedding Use the four-bed Family room when four guests each need a standard bed; the Japanese-Western room uses two futons.
Meals Elementary-school breakfast is currently ¥1,750.
Include the child in occupancy and confirm whether breakfast or the public bath is included in the chosen plan.
