How Tomari handles your information.

Information we may receive

• Account information: identifiers and email information provided through Google sign-in and our authentication provider.
• Trip-planning information: selected hotels, places, dates, times, travel modes and places you choose to save.
• Search and route requests: place names, coordinates and travel settings needed to return place and route results.
• Contact information: your name, email address, optional phone number and message when you contact us.
• Basic service information: technical and usage information used to keep the site secure, reliable and understandable.

How we use information

We use information to provide sign-in, save user-selected places, calculate requested routes, respond to enquiries, prevent misuse, diagnose problems and improve Tomari. We do not sell personal information.

Services that help us operate Tomari

Tomari uses specialist providers for authentication, hosting, storage, email delivery, place search and route calculation. These currently include Clerk, Vercel, Upstash, Resend, Google services and OpenStreetMap-based place search. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

When you follow a hotel, booking or activity link, the destination website may receive information in accordance with its own privacy policy. An eligible partner link may also include a referral identifier so a commission can be attributed to Tomari.

Information stored on your device

Your itinerary draft and interface preferences may be stored in your browser so they remain available when you return. You can remove this information through your browser settings.

Children's information

Tomari is designed for adults planning family travel. We do not ask for a child's name or other details that directly identify a child. Please do not enter such information in place searches, saved-place names or contact messages.

Retention, access and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, security and dispute handling. You may ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information associated with you by contacting Tomari. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Tomari's features or providers change. The revised version will be published here with a new update date.
